Ellicottville Aerial Adventure Ropes Course

Some of the best memories are made in the middle of an adventure.

Cosmos' Lounge is headed to Ellicottville Aerial Adventure Park to take on the ropes course! This day trip is open to teens grades 6–12 and includes everything you need for an epic day of climbing, zip-lining, and conquering heights.

What we'll be doing

Teens will be harnessed up and guided through Ellicottville Aerial Adventure Park's ropes courses; a series of elevated obstacle courses through the trees with rope bridges, balance elements, and zip lines, ranging from beginner-friendly to more advanced. Trained park staff run all the safety briefings and equipment checks before anyone climbs.

Why we're going

There's nothing quite like standing in the top of the trees, looking at the next obstacle, and deciding to go for it anyway. That's the whole point of this trip. Ropes courses push teens a little outside their comfort zone in a safe, supported way, facing heights, working through nerves, and trusting themselves (and their harness) to get across. It builds confidence you can't fake and independence that sticks with you long after the day is over. It's a perfect fit for Cosmos' mission: giving teens real challenges, real choices, and the chance to prove to themselves what they're capable of.

Trip Details

Trip Date: September 27, 2026

Departure/Return: Leaves from Cosmos' Lounge at 12:00 PM, returns in the evening around 5:00 PM

Safety first

All Cosmos' Lounge staff and chaperones hold current PA child care clearances and CPR certification. Because we can't guarantee that every parent or guardian on a trip would have the same clearances, parents are not able to join this trip — this keeps things safe and consistent for every teen in the group.
