Cosmos' Lounge is headed to Erie for Splash Lagoon! This day trip is open to teens grades 6–12 and includes everything you need for a day of swimming.

What we'll be doing

Splash Lagoon is an approximately 80,000-square-foot indoor water park kept at a warm 84 degrees year-round so weather won't be a factor at all. Teens will have the whole day to explore nine water slides, two hot tubs, a large activity pool, a five-story interactive Tree House, and a massive wave pool. Whether teens want to ride the big slides, float the lazy river, catch waves in the wave pool, or just hang out, there's something for every comfort level.

Why we're going

Sometimes the best trips are just about fun, connection, and a change of scenery and this one is exactly that. A full day at an indoor water park gives our teens a chance to let loose, be silly, and make memories with friends outside the usual routine. It's a low-pressure environment that's great for building friendships and just enjoying being a kid. Trips like this matter to Cosmos' mission too sometimes the most valuable thing we can give teens is simply a great day, together.

Trip Details

Trip Date: November 14, 2026

Departure/Return: Leaves from Cosmos' Lounge at 11:00 AM, returns in the evening around 8:30 PM

Safety first

All Cosmos' Lounge staff and chaperones hold current PA child care clearances and CPR certification. Because we can't guarantee that every parent or guardian on a trip would have the same clearances, parents are not able to join this trip — this keeps things safe and consistent for every teen in the group.
