IS COSMOS' LOUNGE A NONPROFIT?

Yes. Cosmos Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.Official documentation is available upon request.

ARE DONATIONS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE IN PA?

Yes. Donations made to a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit may be tax-deductible.

  • Individuals may deduct charitable contributions according to IRS and PA guidelines.

  • Businesses may also deduct charitable contributions as part of their allowable business expenses.
    We recommend consulting a tax professional for specific guidance.

HOW DO I DONATE?

We accept:

  • One-time or recurring monetary donations

  • Sponsorships for programs or events

  • In-kind donations (see below)

  • At the Lounge 

  • Mail to 443 E. Main St Bradford PA 16701. 

  • Please make all checks out to "Cosmos Foundation"

WHAT IN-KIND DONATIONS TO YOU ACCEPT?

We gratefully accept donations of:

  • Art & craft supplies

  • Board games, card games, and puzzles

  • Gently used clothing for Cosmos Closet

  • Books and creative materials

All donated items should be clean, age-appropriate, and in good condition. 

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept:

  • Cash

  • Credit & debit cards

  • Mobile payments (including Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay,Venmo)

DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEERS?

Yes! Volunteers support events, creative workshops, programming, and community outreach.
Because we work with youth, all volunteers must have (or be willing to obtain) required clearances.
