When I was a teen, all I wanted was to grow up and get out of Bradford.
I was restless, bored, and tired of feeling like there was nowhere to go and nothing to do. Everything felt either too adult, too little-kid, or came with rules that made it hard to just exist.

Years later, after more than a decade working with youth—coaching, mentoring, and building programs—I realized the story hadn’t changed. I kept hearing the same things:

“Teens are trouble.”
“There’s nothing to do.”
“There’s nowhere to go.”

So, I decided to change the narrative.

Cosmos’ Lounge was built to be that missing space — a third space between school and home where teens can hang out, create, and belong. No pressure. No judgment. No expectations — just good vibes, creativity, and connection.

And now, as Cosmos grows, our mission is growing too. While teens remain at the heart of everything we do, we’re expanding that same energy to young adults, families, and the broader community. Because the truth is universal:

We all need somewhere to go and something to do.
We all need a space where we can breathe, be ourselves, and feel part of something real.
