When I was a teen, all I wanted was to grow up and get out of Bradford.
I was restless, bored, and tired of feeling like there was nowhere to go and nothing to do. Everything was either too adult, too little-kid, or came with rules that made it hard to just exist.

Years later, after spending over a decade working with youth—coaching, mentoring, and building programs, I realized the story hadn’t changed.
I kept hearing the same thing:
“Teens are trouble.”
“There’s nothing to do.”
“There’s nowhere to go.”

So I decided to change the narrative.

Cosmos’ Lounge is a third space built just for teens in grades 6–12—a place to hang out, create, connect, and feel like they belong. No pressure. No judgment. No need to be anyone but yourself.

It’s that missing piece between school and home—a place where laughter fills the room, creativity runs wild, and real friendships grow.
We're here to be something to do, and somewhere to go. Finally.
