2025 Impact Snapshot

In Year 1 Look What We Have Accomplished Together!

Cosmos’ Lounge was created to be more than a building it’s a living, growing third space shaped by youth voice, creativity, and community care. Every number below represents real moments: friendships formed, confidence built, laughter shared, and young people choosing connection over isolation.

30+ Community Partnerships

From local artists and small businesses to schools, nonprofits, and mentors, Cosmos thrives because of collaboration. These partnerships expand what’s possible — bringing new opportunities, resources, and experiences directly to the young people we serve.

246 Unique Youth Served

Each youth who walks through our doors is met exactly where they are. Cosmos welcomes teens of all backgrounds and identities, offering a safe, inclusive environment where they can show up as themselves, try new things, and feel seen.

1400 Visits

Impact isn’t just about how many youth we reach, it’s about how often they come back. Repeat visits tell the real story: Cosmos is a place young people want to be. A place that feels familiar, comfortable, and theirs.

45 Workshops & Events Hosted

From creative arts and hands-on workshops to social events and skill-building experiences, Cosmos offers programming that balances fun with growth. Every workshop is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

10 Youth Leaders

Youth leadership is at the heart of Cosmos. Our Youth Board plays an active role in shaping events, sharing ideas, and helping guide the direction of the space. These leaders aren’t just participants — they are collaborators, decision-makers, and role models for their peers.

Why This Matters

Across the country, teens are losing access to safe, affordable third spaces. Cosmos exists to fill that gap, especially in rural communities where options are limited. Research consistently shows that access to positive out-of-school spaces leads to stronger mental health, improved social skills, and increased engagement in school and community life.
